Healthy “Junk Food”
So since this is the last week of National Nutrition Month I thought I would share with you some of my favorite healthy “no-no” foods, because let’s face it, sometimes you just want some fries or something that you know is bad for you and you shouldn’t eat. If you completely deprive yourself it will become a huge mental game and you will go crazy until you snap and end up in a full-fledged binge. Then you will find yourself feeling guilty rolling on the ground gripping your stomach that is gurgling with pain because it isn’t used to eating these junk foods any more.
Don’t worry; I won’t let that happen to you. Next time you crave one of these forbidden foods, reach for the healthy alternative instead. Plus, moderation is key, you’re allowed to have treats every once in a while and if the treats are just as tasty then it’s a win-win and you never need the real version.
You want French Fries. Go for these instead: Peas of Mind Veggie Wedgies
I LOVE the cauliflower fries… seriously LOVE them, the carrot ones are also really good.
You want Chicken Nuggets. Try a batch of these instead: Naked Nuggets
You want Ice Cream. Reach for Arctic Zero.
